Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are provided (primarily Texas).
- Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
- Telehealth experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working independently in a contractor-based role.
- Proficient in managing a caseload, documentation, and scheduling.
- Capable of navigating telehealth technology and virtual platforms.
- Reliable internet connection and a private, secure workspace for sessions.
- Successful completion of background check and reference requirements.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial evaluations and required re-evaluations for patients.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings, family goals, and patient needs.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions through virtual platforms.
- Provide coaching, education, and strategies to families, caregivers, and teachers.
- Monitor, track, and document patient progress.
- Collaborate with Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, and physicians to provide coordinated care.
