Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- 4+ years of demonstrable experience designing automation frameworks and developing test automation software.
- Demonstrable experience leading QA projects and initiatives.
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines-as-code (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Experience containerizing test environments (Docker required; Kubernetes a plus).
- Working knowledge of test methodologies and tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or Jira.
- Experience with test management tools like TestRail, ALM, or Zephyr.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Own and extend the test automation framework across UI, API, and hardware-in-the-loop test surfaces.
- Build and maintain CI/CD test infrastructure, including pipeline orchestration, containerized environments, and test parallelization.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and maintain test cases in the Test Management System.
- Monitor production bugs and perform root cause analysis to expand test coverage.
- Design and execute performance, scale, security, and user experience testing.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted testing tools like self-healing automation and visual regression.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers on quality best practices.
- Collaborate with Developers, SREs, Product Managers, and Operations to validate end-to-end functionality.
