Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA / Test Automation Engineering
- Strong background in test automation and API testing
- Experience within a payments or financial services environment
- Solid understanding of end-to-end payment processing
- Knowledge of one or more payment schemes: International and high-value payments (including CBPR+), SEPA Payments and Instant Payments
- Proficiency with Cucumber (required)
- Proficiency with Postman for automated UI and API testing
- Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
- Experience managing test coverage via Jira/Zephyr
- Experience with version control using Git
- A quality-first mindset and a results-driven approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for complex payment systems and platforms
- Prepare test scenarios to validate if features and / or defect fixes are delivered correctly
- Build and maintain test automation cases and automated regression suites
- Test API integrations, payments services, integrations and payment flows
- Validate payment messages, business rules, data and processing outcomes
- Work with ISO 20022 and payment schemes such as International and High-Value Payments, CHAPS, Target2, EURO1, SEPA and Instant Payments
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze defects and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently
- Work closely with developers, architects and payment business analysts
- Identify quality risks early and help build quality into the solution from day one
