Requirements
- Strong hands-on Databricks experience.
- Expertise in Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Workflows/Jobs.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL, databases, and data modeling.
- Experience performing technical design and solution discussions.
- Proven experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.
- Assess existing implementations and proactively propose Databricks-based solutions and best practices.
- Provide technical recommendations on architecture, performance, scalability, cost optimization, security, and governance.
- Conduct technical design and solution discussions with customer architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate technical thought leadership and challenge existing approaches to recommend improved solutions.
- Manage priorities while maintaining engineering quality in a high-pressure delivery environment.
