Requirements
- Editing reel required with application.
- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or media production.
- Strong proficiency in narrative editing, pacing, and flow.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with professional-level audio mixing and color correction.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
- Reliable creative judgment in editorial workflows.
- Ability to travel to Middle Tennessee 2-4 times annually.
- Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience serving in Next Gen ministries strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Edit original footage into complete, polished stories that reflect Lifeway's brand standards.
- Make editorial decisions around pace, style, and tone for target audiences.
- Perform audio mixing, color correction, and sound design.
- Integrate music, sound effects, graphics, and footage to support creative intent.
- Collaborate with motion graphic designers to incorporate animations and captions.
- Communicate project timelines and creative roadblocks to stakeholders.
- Maintain organized file management and naming structures.
- Participate in review cycles and implement stakeholder feedback.
- Contribute to team growth through peer coaching and process improvements.
