Requirements
- 10+ years of professional technology experience including at least 4+ years of hands-on software development.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Proven experience building and deploying LLM-based systems into production.
- Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, or Codex.
- Demonstrable experience building AI-powered automations or agents that solve real business problems.
- Proficiency with SQL, data warehouses, and third-party API integrations.
- Proven ability to build and own applications from scratch through to production support.
- Experience coaching non-technical colleagues to maintain or extend tools.
- Strong business partnership skills to gather requirements and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to define ROI and business value metrics.
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver at least 3 end-to-end business automations within the first 6 months, managing discovery, specification, development, and deployment.
- Build AI solutions integrating LLM APIs, databases, accounting systems, and collaboration tools like Slack.
- Take ownership of stabilizing and improving existing automations with reliable, maintainable infrastructure.
- Conduct discovery with non-technical subject-matter experts to define requirements and challenge assumptions.
- Design low-code/config-driven interfaces to empower non-technical teams to manage daily workflows.
- Provide documentation, safeguards, and training to ensure sustainable, independent operation by business teams.
