Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation Engineering.
- Proven experience leading and owning automation initiatives in technology or SaaS environments.
- Proven experience in end-to-end test automation.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
- Advanced experience with Playwright or similar frameworks (Cypress/Selenium).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Experience with BDD / Gherkin syntax and implementation.
- Solid understanding of API testing and end-to-end testing practices.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Augment).
Responsibilities
- Architect and break down ambiguous product problems into concrete, well-scoped test cases and test plans.
- Contribute to our AI-first engineering culture, share patterns, document what works, and help the team level up on how we build with AI.
- Use AI tools fluently to compress implementation time while critically reviewing AI-generated code.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to identify specs gaps, surface edge cases, and ensure release readiness.
- Maintain high-quality test coverage, conduct code reviews, and catch bugs before production release.
