Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React (at least 7-8 years).
- Strong product and business understanding.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent collaborative team player skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Experience in identifying and implementing performance and scalability improvements.
- Ability to work autonomously on high-impact initiatives.
- Experience with production observability and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
Responsibilities
- Understand and frame user and product problems using product knowledge.
- Lead significant technical deliveries within the squad from design to production.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues using monitoring and data analysis tools.
- Design and evolve robust solutions by identifying performance and scalability opportunities.
- Improve engineering practices through code reviews, pair programming, documentation, and RFCs.
- Act as a role model and driver for other engineers by sharing knowledge and providing feedback.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate progress and risks.
