Requirements
- Proven experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems.
- Strong engineering skills and ability to tackle complex problems with minimal supervision.
- Experience with AI technologies and frameworks, specifically LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with building applications powered by GenAI.
- Proven track record of delivering software successfully into production environments.
- Exposure to working in cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using observability tools to troubleshoot and understand system behavior.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and define scope in loosely defined projects.
- Strong collaborative communication skills in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and operate core backend services for context ingestion, indexing, and retrieval orchestration.
- Define and build architecture for a multi-tenant service, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, and audit logs.
- Build APIs and service interfaces to allow AI agents and internal applications to retrieve context, provenance, and confidence signals.
- Partner with the team to make tradeoffs between rapid experimentation and long-term production reliability.
- Instrument services with metrics, logs, traces, and alerts to maintain system health and performance.
- Contribute to architectural direction, API contracts, and engineering practices for new product areas.
- Take full ownership of AI solutions to ensure they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with user workflows.
