Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in Backend Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience building scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications.
- Experience designing cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating applications with databases, enterprise systems, and external APIs.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, including RBAC.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies and Docker environments.
- Proficiency with development best practices: Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
- Build and maintain backend services that support AI platforms and applications.
- Integrate business databases, third-party services, and internal legacy platforms with AI engines.
- Optimize backend performance, latency, and resource utilization to support real-time AI inference and model hosting.
- Implement enterprise-grade security controls, including authentication, authorization (RBAC), and rate limiting.
- Establish and promote development best practices, clean code standards, and code quality processes.
- Create and maintain integration and automated tests to ensure application reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and support engineering quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers to deploy AI models and services in containerized environments.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production systems.
