Requirements

  • Native speaker of Canadian French, born and raised in Canada.
  • Proficient English speaker.
  • Access to a professional home studio setup including a professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and editing software.
  • Ability to speak in a neutral to upbeat 'customer service' voice.
  • Strong attention to detail regarding punctuation and pacing.
  • Commitment to 2-10 hours per week.
  • Availability for a project kickoff call.

Responsibilities

  • Record transcripts exactly as written or edit them to reflect natural pacing.
  • Maintain a neutral to upbeat customer service voice with clear enunciation and consistent pacing.
  • Perform post-production editing on audio files.
  • Ensure submissions meet technical standards including WAV format, 44.1 kHz, mono, minimal silence, and no audible breathing.
  • Attend a kickoff call for the project.
