Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product and UX design thinking, including the design process and rationale behind solutions.
- Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, components, and design systems.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in an asynchronous environment.
- Comfort working as part of a distributed, remote-first team.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for new and existing product features.
- Take designs from early concepts through implementation, QA, and the final shipped experience.
- Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system in Figma, ensuring consistency across product experiences.
- Partner with product managers and engineers throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Conduct lightweight user research and usability checks to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into iterative design solutions.
- Prepare polished, developer-ready designs, specifications, and interaction details.
- Remain engaged during implementation to help ensure the delivered experience meets the intended design quality.
- Translate complex workflows, including multi-entity onboarding and payroll-related processes, into simple and intuitive interfaces.
