Requirements
- Senior-level backend and API engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on Node.js and JavaScript experience.
- Strong PostgreSQL expertise, including pure SQL without an ORM.
- Proven experience building scalable, data-intensive production applications.
- Strong API design and development skills.
- Solid experience with backend architecture, testing, and maintainability.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of features.
- Ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly.
- English language proficiency at B2 level.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve scalable backend services and APIs.
- Work extensively with Node.js, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Write pure SQL and work directly with the database.
- Design solutions for data-intensive production applications.
- Make architectural decisions with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Take ownership of features from idea and planning through to production.
- Work with a distributed engineering team and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs.
