Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Android development experience with strong Kotlin expertise.
- Extensive experience building modern mobile UIs with Jetpack Compose.
- Deep understanding of Coroutines, Flows, state management, and offline-first design patterns.
- Solid experience with Retrofit/Ktor, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
- Proven experience acting as a Tech Lead / Lead Developer, providing architectural direction and mentoring team members.
- Hands-on experience with unit/UI testing (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Build Store Capture and Transition Steering solutions, integrating specialized tools like the Scandit scanning library.
- Design robust state management, offline-first capabilities, REST API integrations, and event-driven architectures with Kafka backend services.
- Lead technical decision-making, code reviews, testing standards, performance tuning, and CI/CD release processes for Android.
- Collaborate with POs, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams within an Agile Scrum environment.
