Requirements

8+ years of hands-on Android development experience with strong Kotlin expertise.
Extensive experience building modern mobile UIs with Jetpack Compose.
Deep understanding of Coroutines, Flows, state management, and offline-first design patterns.
Solid experience with Retrofit/Ktor, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
Proven experience acting as a Tech Lead / Lead Developer, providing architectural direction and mentoring team members.
Hands-on experience with unit/UI testing (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Build Store Capture and Transition Steering solutions, integrating specialized tools like the Scandit scanning library.
Design robust state management, offline-first capabilities, REST API integrations, and event-driven architectures with Kafka backend services.
Lead technical decision-making, code reviews, testing standards, performance tuning, and CI/CD release processes for Android.
Collaborate with POs, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams within an Agile Scrum environment.
