Requirements
- Law degree and strong professional legal foundation.
- Deep experience in the iGaming, casino, or sportsbook industry.
- Experience advising businesses on complex wagering, gaming, or sportsbook matters.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and business teams.
- Commercially oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal and regulatory risk with business objectives.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where processes need to be developed from scratch.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and execution speed.
- Experience working with blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, or crypto-native products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and shape regulatory and legal frameworks supporting a blockchain-enabled iGaming, sportsbook, and casino platform.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to help design features and workflows with regulatory and legal requirements incorporated from the outset.
- Advise on global market expansion, including assessing jurisdictions, launch considerations, regulatory requirements, and associated risks.
- Conduct practical legal and regulatory risk assessments that enable informed business decisions and support responsible growth.
- Provide strategic guidance across the intersection of wagering regulations, crypto-native assets, digital products, and international expansion.
- Serve as a commercially minded legal partner to Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market stakeholders.
- Build and manage relationships with external legal and regulatory advisors across relevant jurisdictions.
- Help establish scalable legal and regulatory processes for a rapidly developing business.
