Requirements
- Proven professional experience with Agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of database design, evolution, and data-related engineering principles.
- Experience designing and evolving software architecture.
- Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of software monitoring, observability, performance tracking, and diagnostics.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with autonomy and ownership.
- Experience mentoring software engineers is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is desirable.
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software and product challenges.
- Participate in Agile methodologies and ceremonies to improve team processes.
- Own the software development lifecycle including technical definition, development, testing, and deployment.
- Design and evolve scalable, reliable software architectures and design patterns.
- Contribute to code and design reviews, enforcing engineering standards and quality.
- Troubleshoot incidents, investigate root causes, and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain high-quality services and APIs.
- Mentor software engineers by providing technical guidance and feedback.
