Requirements
- Several years of demonstrated experience building software using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Cody, Aider) as a primary development tool.
- Portfolio or GitHub profile evidencing a mature AI-native development approach.
- Deep software engineering fundamentals including system design, data structures, API design, and testing strategies.
- Senior-level engineering maturity to assess performance, security, and architectural fit of AI-generated code.
- Proven experience working across the full stack (frontend and backend).
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor other engineers with clear architectural feedback.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction.
- Constructive and patient approach to working with AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Deliver production-quality features and fixes using AI coding agents as the primary development tool.
- Set technical direction for AI agent orchestration, including standards for prompting and context management.
- Critically audit AI-generated code for correctness, performance, security, and standards compliance.
- Own and improve system architecture, including database schemas, API contracts, and deployment pipelines.
- Mentor other engineers in AI-native development practices and prompting strategies.
- Identify tasks suited for AI-assisted development versus manual implementation.
- Represent stream AI-native practices to engineering leadership and contribute to strategy.
