Job Details

Requirements

  • Current MD or DO license in the state of Minnesota.
  • Valid DEA license.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote/telehealth environment.
  • Experience working with a diverse patient population.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and encouraging attitude.
  • Collaborative mindset to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • ABOM (American Board of Obesity Medicine) certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience with telemedicine and remote care is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver synchronous and asynchronous patient care through the company telehealth platform.
  • Manage a patient panel of 250 individuals, with adjustments depending on employment status.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team including dietitians, exercise specialists, and behavioral medicine providers.
  • Implement evidence-based treatment strategies for obesity and lifestyle medicine.
  • Create lasting and impactful patient relationships in a remote setting.
  • Participate in clinical leadership and innovation initiatives.
