Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and experience with Kafka or other event streaming technologies.
- Experience working with AWS and EKS or comparable cloud and container orchestration environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related development and deployment tools.
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, availability, performance, and reliability principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs and backend services.
- Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement large-scale distributed systems capable of handling substantial data volumes and traffic.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and low-latency backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement APIs and event-driven solutions supporting reliable system communication.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native backend services with a focus on scalability, availability, and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across application, service, infrastructure, and integration layers.
- Develop and execute unit, API, regression, and performance tests to ensure system quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to investigate incidents and deliver rapid, effective resolutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and technical decisions.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvements across CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and engineering workflows.
