Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Backend development.
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining web applications in critical environments with high availability, high request volumes, and thousands of concurrent users.
- Professional experience with PHP, Go, and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience designing and working with databases while considering query performance, concurrency, and large data volumes.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs with a focus on performance, security, resilience, and scalability.
- Ability to analyze performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for high-load systems.
- Strong logical reasoning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate and resolve complex technical challenges independently and collaboratively.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a transparent, honest, collaborative, and results-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Go, applying software engineering best practices.
- Design solutions with performance, availability, scalability, and reliability in mind from the beginning.
- Participate in the modeling and evolution of data structures, considering query performance, data volumes, concurrency, and platform growth.
- Monitor applications in production and investigate errors, bottlenecks, performance degradation, and potential customer or user impact.
- Analyze and resolve incidents while contributing to continuous improvements in platform stability and availability.
- Participate in Product squads and contribute technically from solution discussions through implementation and production monitoring.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs with attention to performance, security, resilience, and scalability.
- Propose improvements to application architecture, code, databases, and infrastructure to increase robustness, maintainability, performance, and scalability.
- Investigate complex technical and performance issues and identify effective solutions for high-load systems.
