Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in multilingual localization, dubbing, advertising, social media, digital marketing, or branded content.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro as the primary editing platform, with familiarity with Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Advanced knowledge of audio synchronization techniques including manual waveform matching, timecode alignment, audio markers, auto-sync tools, and frame-level precision editing.
- Experience working with multilingual audio tracks, multiple language layers, localized voice-overs, and subtitle workflows including SRT and VTT formats.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, including strong reading, writing, listening, and cultural understanding.
- Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, visual storytelling, and the ability to preserve the original message and emotional impact during localization.
- Strong cultural awareness, including sensitivity to regional humor, idioms, contextual references, and linguistic nuances.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control, with the ability to identify and correct synchronization, translation, visual, and audio inconsistencies.
- Strong organizational and file-management skills, including version control and handling multiple language deliverables simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining creative and technical quality.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Edit and localize advertisements, promotional content, social media videos, and other video assets for multiple language audiences.
- Execute precise localization using waveform matching, markers, timecode alignment, frame-level editing, and automated synchronization tools.
- Synchronize localized voice-overs and subtitles with original visuals while preserving timing, pacing, emotional tone, and storytelling impact.
- Manage multiple language versions of the same video efficiently using structured project, timeline, file management, and versioning workflows.
- Adapt on-screen text, graphics, lower thirds, overlays, and other visual elements to ensure linguistic and cultural relevance.
- Coordinate with translators, voice artists, language experts, and project managers to maintain consistency and quality across localized deliverables.
- Perform detailed quality control across audio, video, subtitles, graphics, and language-specific adaptations before delivery.
- Optimize editing workflows for scalability, faster turnaround, batch production, templated delivery, and concurrent multilingual projects.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure all language versions are accurately prepared and delivered according to production requirements.
