Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in an engineering role
- At least 2 years of experience in a dedicated DevOps engineer role
- Expertise in designing, creating, and managing AWS infrastructure
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and a scripting language
- Experience with Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like CircleCI
- Experience using AI coding tools for operations automation
- Proficiency with observability tools for logs, metrics, and tracing
- Strong understanding of security principles and security-first design
- Understanding of how DevOps influences application architecture and the SDLC
Responsibilities
- Actively participate as a member of the DevOps team
- Collaborate with Engineering teams using a product-focused mindset
- Design and implement DevOps solutions using a modern toolset
- Utilize metrics and data to drive communication and decision-making
- Ensure platform stability and contribute to application architecture decisions
- Partner with AppEng to provide support during production incidents
- Deliver iterative platform changes with no downtime
- Collaborate with leadership on defining and adopting security best practices
- Participate in an on-call rotation
