Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • 5–7 years of clinical quality experience.
  • Direct experience managing a clinical quality team.
  • Proven ability to manage team performance directly and constructively.
  • Direct experience with payor audit response, documentation compliance reviews, or clinical documentation standards in a behavioral health context.
  • Ability to translate clinical logic and standards for non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Ability to advocate for clinical standards while maintaining cross-functional collaboration.
  • Comfort working independently as a subject matter expert without needing close direction.
  • Available for travel 2–3 times per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team, setting clear expectations and managing performance directly.
  • Define clinical quality and maintain standards across a network of 26,000+ providers.
  • Manage the provider quality review, escalation, and termination processes.
  • Define documentation integrity standards and ensure payor audit readiness by identifying compliance gaps.
  • Serve as the clinical subject matter expert for Product, Operations, and Payor Partnership teams.
  • Review cross-functional initiatives for clinical integrity and provide recommendations before execution.
