Requirements
- Four-year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty License required (or 20-44 license may be considered).
- Must have an insurance license or be able to sit for and pass state licensing exams within 90 days of joining.
- Experience in Property and Casualty insurance preferred.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Highly organized and exceptional at following up on assigned tasks.
- Available for a flexible schedule including some evening and Saturday hours.
- Ability to travel within local NJ and PA markets for meetings and prospecting.
- Adaptable with a 'get it done' attitude.
- Proficiency with or ability to learn Agency Management Systems.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer phone calls and either resolve issues or reroute to a team member.
- Follow-up with customers as needed to ensure requests have been met.
- Process policy changes, answer billing questions, and issue insurance documents and certificates.
- Assist the sales team by organizing, scanning, and filing required policy documents and customer information.
- Assist the customer support team with policy audits and retention efforts.
- Field questions regarding insurance coverage options, policy provisions, discounts, and pricing.
- Participate in renewal retention efforts, including audits and client surveys.
