Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer-facing mobile products.
- 5+ years of experience managing and building design teams.
- Proven track record of shaping roadmap and strategy at a leadership level.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality craft and tangible business outcomes.
- Deep proficiency in Figma.
- Experience in fintech or domains with significant complexity.
- Strong ability to communicate design arguments to executive leadership.
- Experience building design practices and research capabilities.
- Curiosity and practical knowledge regarding AI in design workflows.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments using research and data.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision, standards, and strategy for product design in alignment with Tilt’s objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 6 product designers and 1 researcher.
- Push design upstream into problem definition and roadmap-setting through cross-functional partnerships.
- Build and mature the company's research practice.
- Steward and scale the Tilt Design System to ensure cross-product coherence.
- Champion the user through evidence-based advocacy across the enterprise.
- Identify and implement AI-driven automation to improve design workflows.
