Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years specifically focused on Data Engineering.
- Deep technical expertise with Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Stream Processing).
- Strong experience with OLAP databases, preferably Clickhouse.
- Good fluency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and system building.
- Willingness to embrace highly agentic AI-assisted development, specifically using Claude Code.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Significant experience with open-source tools within the modern data stack.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the architecture of complex data systems prioritizing scalability and reliability.
- Design and optimize production-grade data pipelines with a focus on high-throughput, real-time streaming.
- Drive Spec-Driven Development (SDD) using OpenSpec or GitHub Spec Kit to create engineering contracts.
- Orchestrate agentic AI workflows using Claude Code and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Take full accountability and ownership of system components to solve complex technical challenges.
- Implement rigorous testing and monitoring frameworks for mission-critical data.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
