Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Significant experience building production React Native applications.
- Expert-level TypeScript proficiency for clean, type-safe, and well-tested code.
- Deep expertise in React Native performance optimization, native modules, and animations.
- Strong experience with Expo and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency with monorepo tooling such as Yarn workspaces.
- Solid understanding of mobile testing strategies including Jest and Maestro.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, Expo/EAS workflows, and app store deployment.
- Understanding of mobile observability including crash reporting and performance monitoring.
- Proven track record of owning complex, multi-component mobile features in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex features and interaction flows in the React Native app.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of complex features end-to-end.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimize mobile app responsiveness.
- Propose and drive architectural decisions and communicate technical recommendations.
- Mentor Software Engineers I, II, and III through code reviews, pairing, and guidance.
- Define and improve engineering practices around component architecture, testing, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to translate goals into technical solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents and reliability improvements.
