Requirements
- Experience as a classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL, tutor, or coach.
- Experience with online instruction preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Must reside and tutor from one of the listed US states or Washington DC.
- Availability to tutor at least one hour Monday through Thursday between 4 pm and 7 pm ET.
- Must have a computer (laptop or desktop) and webcam.
- Access to a clean, distraction-free environment.
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection of at least 20 mbps.
- Willingness to complete a fingerprint-based FBI background check.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-designed, best-practice reading and math lessons to provide targeted support for students.
- Build meaningful professional connections with students.
- Create an encouraging and motivating learning environment with supportive student corrections.
- Maintain virtual student behavior and engagement.
- Provide students with practice time and guide with supportive corrections.
