Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, Engineer, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of direct on-site construction or installation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven ability to maintain project schedules and site budgets.
- Experience developing and enforcing site-specific safety plans.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and project coordination.
- Ability to manage subcontractor issuing and administration.
- Experience with project documentation and job-specific inspection verification.
- Physical ability to perform industrial field work including navigating uneven ground, ladders, and stairs.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Implement procedures and action plans per the Matrix Operations Manual and Quality Systems.
- Maintain on-site project schedules and budgets, communicating any issues to the Project Manager.
- Direct and coordinate all on-site work and project activities.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans in coordination with client procedures.
- Manage project documentation, including correspondence files, inspection reports, and material tracking records.
- Oversee subcontract administration and coordinate project billing.
- Foster client relationships and facilitate information flow between the client and the company.
- Conduct final project critiques and lessons learned reviews.
