Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive cost and manufacturing accounting experience, ideally in equipment or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong command of standard costing, BOM and routing structures, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Proven experience with a full-cycle ERP implementation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large operational and cost data sets.
- Digitalization mindset with hands-on experience improving and automating reporting.
- Strong master data management expertise including governance and data quality.
- Influencing skills to work across Operations, Procurement, and Accounting departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with the NetSuite ecosystem is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Own standard costing, bill of materials (BOM), routing accuracy, and periodic cost revaluation.
- Analyze and explain manufacturing variances including purchase price, material usage, labor, and overhead.
- Define, track, and report cost-savings and productivity measures across manufacturing and supply chain.
- Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, E&O reserves, and physical-to-book reconciliation.
- Partner with Procurement on vendor pricing, make-versus-buy analysis, and long-lead purchase decisions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance.
- Automate scalable manufacturing and cost reporting dashboards.
- Own master data management for cost-relevant data including items, BOMs, and vendors.
