Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or a related technical/business field.
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering or 10+ years in professional services or technical consulting.
- Recent hands-on programming experience or technical fluency in Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++.
- Database proficiency in SQL, HTML, and XML.
- Proven ability to conduct deep discovery and present complex technical concepts to C-level audiences.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy for strategic accounts and complex sales campaigns, acting as a co-seller with Account Executives.
- Lead customer roadmap sessions, transformation workshops, and executive visioning discussions.
- Architect, design, and deliver custom technical Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Values (POVs).
- Integrate Appian into complex enterprise environments, including ERP, CRM, and modern web systems.
- Direct technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, security reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management to influence the long-term product roadmap.
- Coach peers, lead field enablement sessions, and contribute reusable assets and blueprints.
