Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IT, Business IT, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant, or 10+ years in client-facing technical consulting.
- Recent hands-on programming experience using Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++.
- Proficiency with databases including SQL, HTML, and XML.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills with ability to engage C-level audiences.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations.
- Experience selling into the DoW or Federal landscape is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy for strategic accounts and complex sales campaigns.
- Lead customer roadmap sessions, transformation workshops, and executive visioning discussions.
- Architect, scope, and deliver high-quality, custom technical Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Proof of Values (POVs).
- Integrate Appian into complex enterprise environments including ERP, CRM, data, workflow, and AI systems.
- Direct technical responses and functional strategies for RFIs, RFPs, and security reviews.
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams to influence the product roadmap.
- Coach peers, lead field enablement sessions, and contribute strategic reusable assets.
