Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java 8 and higher software development.
- Strong experience with Java Spring Framework for REST APIs.
- Excellent SQL database skills including design, maintenance, and querying (Snowflake preferred).
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as Elastic Container Service or AWS X-Ray.
- Experience processing data efficiently in JSON and GeoJSON formats.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Scala or Python.
- Demonstrated experience in full application life cycle management.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Ability to leverage Generative AI tools for coding, testing, and debugging.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product development and other teams to translate business initiatives into technical requirements.
- Create innovative solutions to support partners and customers by building applications that deliver required functionality.
- Adhere to best practices in development and testing, including unit, integration, and runtime tests.
- Work with the engineering team on the design and maintenance of the Snowflake data lake and efficient SQL querying.
- Create quality internal and external documentation for projects and customer onboarding.
- Create data, metrics and visualizations for complex algorithm verification and optimization.
