Requirements
- LPN or RN license required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Business experience in a healthcare or insurance setting preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of business lines.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and typing.
- Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection and support own internet services for remote work.
- Ability to work weekend schedules (Wednesday–Saturday or Thursday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM EST or 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM EST).
Responsibilities
- Provide regular report status updates to clients.
- Evaluate the quality of physician reports to ensure they meet all client and jurisdictional standards.
- Clarify ambiguous report questions with clients and follow up on missing information.
- Work directly with physicians to ensure client questions are answered and supported by clinical rationale.
- Review physician reports for data accuracy, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ensure compliance with state reporting requirements and client-specific formatting instructions.
- Manage the final approval process for cases before release to the client.
- Coordinate quality issue reports with the VP of Clinical Operations.
