Requirements
- 4+ years of experience operating large-scale, distributed systems in production.
- Expert-level Linux administration skills, including storage and networking.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience working with classic data center environments.
- Proven ability deploying and managing applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Practical knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Experience delivering infrastructure services across multiple countries.
- High bar for quality, strong sense of ownership, and genuine team spirit.
Responsibilities
- Keep web applications and services running smoothly, spotting and fixing bottlenecks.
- Optimize performance and cost across systems using modern tools.
- Scale infrastructure to support a growing, worldwide user base.
- Refine deployment and release processes to ensure fast and safe code shipping.
- Help product teams set up and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
- Partner closely with development teams to support infrastructure needs.
- Collaborate daily with an international engineering team across time zones.
