Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, or solution architecture.
- Expert proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, including relational, dimensional, document, and graph models.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure Data Lake.
- Knowledge of API and event-driven architectures including Kafka, AMQP/MQTT, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience with modern data tooling including DBT and SQL.
- Proven experience designing data backbones supporting multi-application ecosystems like Salesforce, Veeva, SAP, or ServiceNow.
- In-depth understanding of commercial value streams across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support.
- Strong ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience establishing semantic content for AI and agentic systems.
- Familiarity with Master Data Management, specifically HCP/HCO account structures.
Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve a scalable, modern commercial data foundation serving downstream applications like CRM, Marketing Automation, and Order-to-Cash.
- Create and maintain enterprise conceptual and logical data models, taxonomies, and ontologies using Domain-Driven Design.
- Design real-time, event-driven data streaming patterns and API contracts to synchronize data between transactional systems and analytical platforms.
- Establish semantic authority for AI-driven commercial analytics by defining entities, metrics, and business logic for agentic consumption.
- Ensure commercial data consumption complies with enterprise controls for data protection, provenance, and global healthcare regulations like GxP and GDPR.
- Manage the ADR governance model and contribute to Governance Decision Records to set metadata and semantic standards.
- Identify and resolve technical debt by optimizing the landscape toward vendor-agnostic data patterns.
