Requirements
- Strong experience designing and implementing cloud-native application architectures on AWS.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, ECS/EKS Fargate, and Amazon Bedrock.
- Proven experience with both serverless and containerized application architectures.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed systems, including patterns such as sagas, eventual consistency, circuit breakers, retries, and idempotency.
- Experience designing contract-first APIs using API Gateway and OpenAPI 3.x, including API versioning and authentication.
- Practical experience incorporating generative AI into production applications, particularly agents, RAG, Amazon Bedrock, guardrails, and evaluation approaches.
- Solid understanding of application security and AWS IAM, including least-privilege principles and RBAC/ABAC.
- Experience with operational observability, including CloudWatch or Datadog and SLI/SLO practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and modern CI/CD delivery practices.
- Strong architectural thinking and the ability to balance scalability, resilience, performance, security, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement serverless and containerized applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, and EKS Fargate.
- Architect solutions with a strong focus on resilience, concurrency, cost optimization, retries, and dead-letter queue (DLQ) strategies.
- Design contract-first APIs using API Gateway and OpenAPI 3.x, incorporating appropriate versioning and authentication approaches.
- Implement real-time communication channels, including technologies such as Server-Sent Events (SSE) and MCP.
- Design event-driven architectures using SNS, SQS, and EventBridge, ensuring ordering, idempotency, reliability, and low latency.
- Develop and integrate production-ready generative AI solutions, including AI agents, Amazon Bedrock, RAG architectures, guardrails, and quality evaluation.
- Apply distributed-systems patterns such as sagas, eventual consistency, and circuit breakers to build robust enterprise applications.
- Design and implement secure application architectures using IAM principles, least privilege, and RBAC/ABAC approaches.
- Establish effective operational observability using tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog, supported by appropriate SLI/SLO practices.
- Implement infrastructure and application delivery as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
