Job Details

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using InterSystems Caché and/or InterSystems IRIS.
3+ years of hands-on ObjectScript development experience.
Strong knowledge of IRIS classes, globals, SQL, relational database concepts, and data-access patterns.
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
Experience troubleshooting complex software applications, databases, and data-processing workflows in production environments.
Proficiency with automated testing, code review, version control, and CI/CD practices.
Ability to produce clear technical documentation and develop secure, well-structured solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and sustain enterprise applications using InterSystems IRIS/Caché and ObjectScript.
Analyze VistA data structures, FileMan files, globals, and metadata to design reliable enhancements and troubleshoot complex issues.
Design and implement RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations meeting healthcare interoperability requirements.
Perform unit, functional, integration, and performance testing while optimizing system performance and production environments.
Develop maintainable and secure code following VA standards and support CI/CD practices using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
Support production deployments, platform modernization, containerization, and incident resolution within a collaborative Agile/DevOps team.
