Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Experience or strong desire to learn Python
- Automation-oriented mindset with aptitude for using AI tools for query debugging and reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
Responsibilities
- Perform finance related recurring operations, such as loan sales to our investors
- Initiate, engineer and maintain scripts used to streamline different business functions
- Read, debug, and modernize existing SQL and Python pipelines, including legacy code
- Support Customer Support, Product, and Finance teams as a subject matter expert for loan data
- Perform ad hoc data analysis and communicate insights to business partners
- Build validations and financial-governance controls to prevent fraud and errors
