Requirements
- Extensive experience in developing enterprise-class solutions and complex codebases.
- Very good knowledge of Java, especially in Java/Jakarta EE environments.
- Practical experience with React and TypeScript and designing maintainable, scalable front-end architectures.
- Experience in defining architecture and technical strategy, including distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
- Very good understanding of software design principles, patterns, and architecture.
- Experience with Azure services and Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices/tools and container technologies (Docker).
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern AI integration patterns.
- Ability to communicate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (nice to have).
- Experience in modernizing monolithic enterprise applications (nice to have).
- Experience with financial systems, ERP, or other business-critical solutions (nice to have).
- Knowledge of legacy technology and mixed-technology environments, including C or C-based systems (nice to have).
- Experience in mentoring engineers/leads and working in international distributed teams (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Co-create and develop the product's architectural vision.
- Make technical decisions across multiple engineering teams and conduct architectural reviews.
- Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements for scalability, security, operability, and maintainability.
- Lead platform evolution toward modular, cloud-native architectures using containerization and orchestration.
- Identify technical debt and set direction for modernization initiatives.
- Establish front-end standards and define reusable UI architectural patterns.
- Implement AI-assisted development practices using GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot.
- Promote an engineering culture based on quality, automation, TDD, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers and technical leads and support recruitment and technical assessment processes.
