Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production apps in both Swift and Kotlin.
- Proficiency in offline-first data storage and synchronization strategies.
- Experience implementing background tasks and handling flaky network connectivity.
- Ability to independently own and manage two platforms.
- Clear communication skills in English.
- Experience with media-heavy apps (camera/audio) is a plus.
- Experience with field-use or industrial apps in poor-connectivity environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Django or REST backends is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop both native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) applications.
- Ensure reliable media capture including camera, audio, and file handling.
- Implement offline-first synchronization to handle data storage and background uploads in low-connectivity settings.
- Maintain high app quality through rigorous testing, crash monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Execute the full release process for both platforms.
- Collaborate directly with backend engineers and the CTO on mobile features and architecture.
