Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a relevant clinical or scientific discipline (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA, MPH).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, vaccines, infectious disease, or biopharma.
  • 3+ years of field medical/MSL experience preferred.
  • Expertise in vaccines, infectious diseases, epidemiology, or immunization policy.
  • Experience discussing clinical evidence and study design with external experts.
  • Strong ability to manage a geographically broad territory and operate in a matrix organization.
  • Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Eastern U.S.
  • Residence near a major airport strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a territory-specific medical strategy for the Eastern U.S.
  • Establish long-term peer-to-peer partnerships with physicians, specialists, and public-health professionals.
  • Conduct proactive and responsive scientific exchange on epidemiology, vaccine science, and clinical data.
  • Synthesize and communicate external insights to inform medical strategy and evidence generation.
  • Identify research opportunities and support study site feasibility.
  • Serve as an internal scientific resource on the regional landscape and stakeholder priorities.
  • Ensure compliant medical education and engagement activities.
