Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance brokerage industry, billing processes, and industry regulations.
- Experience with insurance agency management systems, preferably EPIC and BenefitPoint.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (filtering, formulas, pivot tables, large-volume data analysis).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience within a property and casualty insurance brokerage environment (preferred).
- Experience supporting agency conversions, system implementations, or large-scale process transitions (preferred).
- Experience using Ascend, Comulate, or similar commission processing platforms (preferred).
- Training and coaching experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Guide agencies through the post-conversion period to ensure adoption of Patriot's direct bill processes.
- Lead recurring meetings with agency staff to review action items and answer questions.
- Identify and resolve conversion-related gaps and process breakdowns.
- Monitor and reconcile direct bill transactions for newly converted agencies to ensure accurate commission posting.
- Deliver training and provide job aids on commission processing software and agency management systems.
- Collaborate with carrier relations and Operational Design Authority teams on banking and statement delivery processes.
- Communicate conversion progress, risks, and outstanding issues to leadership.
- Enhance conversion playbooks and training materials to support continuous improvement.
