Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, business analysis, Agile delivery, or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, tracking delivery, gathering requirements, developing user stories, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project management, requirements tracking, workflow management, and documentation.
  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with experience facilitating ceremonies.
  • Strong business analysis and process improvement skills with the ability to translate complex needs into actionable requirements.
  • Strong project organization, prioritization, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other process improvement frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with refugee and immigrant populations or social programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project management activities, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Track work across Scrum and Kanban teams using Jira, maintaining dashboards, status reports, and project documentation.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor Agile performance indicators such as velocity, burndown, capacity, and workflow metrics to address delivery risks.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements, translating stakeholder needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and reengineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts, technical teams, and operations staff to deliver effective solutions.
  • Maintain structured documentation and traceability in Confluence for project artifacts and reporting.
  • Establish repeatable project workflows, governance practices, and documentation standards.
  • Leverage AI tools to support project tracking, workflow automation, and documentation management.
