Requirements
- Experienced backend or platform engineer with a track record of operating Kubernetes/EKS infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with production AWS environments including VPC, IAM, load balancers, and Auto Scaling.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and proxies.
- Experience migrating workloads between compute platforms.
- Familiarity with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code tools like ArgoCD or Pulumi.
- Effective communicator capable of negotiating technical priorities.
Responsibilities
- Migrate workloads from legacy Beanstalk to EKS while managing networking, IAM, and functional parity.
- Design and maintain compute and networking components including Private Link and load balancers.
- Ensure high availability and resilience of shared compute infrastructure including participating in on-call rotations.
- Maintain and evolve GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts.
- Act as a technical focal point for internal teams such as Checkout, MasterData, and Traffic.
