Requirements
- Background in compliance operations, AML/KYC, or related regulatory function.
- Experience managing recurring operational workloads independently.
- Clear communication skills for interacting with customers requesting documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong interest in growing into a full Compliance Officer role.
- Familiarity with crypto, DeFi, or financial infrastructure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage the ongoing AML/KYC review queue via Sumsub.
- Request and follow up on additional information from flagged customers and companies.
- Manage and maintain company-wide AML and sanctions policies.
- Work with engineering to build tracking for feed usage by jurisdiction and monitor usage against regulatory thresholds.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and structures required to seek registration as a benchmark administrator in the EU.
- Support financial compliance by coordinating statutory deliverables, internal controls, and annual external audits.
