Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong track record building production-grade distributed, real-time, or scalable systems.
- Hands-on experience with Conversational AI, Voice AI, Speech AI, or LLM-based agent systems.
- Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with APIs, streaming architectures, and cloud-native platforms.
- Understanding of real-time ASR, streaming speech recognition, and low-latency TTS technologies.
- Experience with WebRTC, SIP, RTP, WebSockets, Twilio, or contact-center technologies.
- Experience developing LLM agents, tool calling, RAG, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
- Understanding of system design, reliability, and production observability.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms is highly valued.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect real-time voice runtimes for natural, production-scale conversations.
- Develop and optimize streaming ASR, TTS, voice activity detection, and interruption handling.
- Build adaptive voice pipelines for high-noise environments including noise cancellation and echo suppression.
- Architect multi-provider speech systems supporting multilingual conversations and real-time language detection.
- Integrate voice agents with enterprise platforms like CRM, ITSM, and knowledge bases.
- Establish evaluation frameworks for metrics like word error rate, latency, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement end-to-end observability across the voice interaction lifecycle.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers on voice and conversational AI systems.
