Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Strong SQL skills with data modeling experience for data warehouses.
- Strong Python skills (especially notebooks) for building and maintaining data workflows.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience working with data warehouses used by reporting/business teams.
- Experience using Git/GitHub for version control in collaborative environments.
- Understanding of pipeline orchestration, dependency management, and data quality/validation fundamentals.
- Hands-on data migration experience (schema mapping, transformation, data reconciliation, and validation).
Responsibilities
- Improve data pipelines via automation with quality checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Reduce manual intervention and minimize errors within data processing workflows.
- Perform migration of legacy systems to new systems including analysis, data transfer, and integration.
- Maintain system performance and continuity during migration activities.
- Ensure data integrity throughout all migration and pipeline engineering tasks.
