Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience conducting and executing on business and/or IT projects utilizing structured methodologies, such as agile.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, including storytelling, writing, and presenting.
- Ability to understand the big picture and exhibit creativity and innovation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to build expertise quickly in unfamiliar subject areas.
- Interest in and knowledge of technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and collaboration technologies.
- Prior Property and Casualty insurance experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution on innovation projects and realization of expected outcomes and learning through cross-functional teams.
- Continuously monitor project status, manage and control project resources and scope using best practices.
- Communicate status of major milestones, identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies, and conduct stakeholder status meetings.
- Conduct market intelligence to identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Surface and support cross-functional business challenges and dependencies while proactively implementing solutions.
- Establish market-sensitive research agendas and conduct vendor briefings, web surveys, and end-user interviews.
- Assess emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, automation, and Insurtech for strategic value.
- Facilitate innovation workshops, design-thinking sessions, and experimentation activities.
