Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Experience shipping and maintaining production Android code.
- Solid grasp of Android lifecycle, threading, and Gradle.
- Familiarity with mobile testing practices (unit, integration, instrumentation) and CI/CD.
- Ability to debug across a wide matrix of devices, OS versions, and third-party app environments.
- Willingness to contribute to iOS (Swift), backend, or frontend work.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customer engineering teams.
- Curiosity about webviews, location services, and new technologies like Python, React, or AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features and fixes to the Android SDK used across a range of third-party apps and devices.
- Contribute to other mobile SDKs including iOS, React Native, Expo, and Flutter as team needs arise.
- Develop backend services, infrastructure, and embedded web UI for products like in-app messaging, universal linking, and geofencing.
- Diagnose and resolve customer-reported SDK issues.
- Write clean, well-tested code and perform code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to ensure consistent behavior across platforms.
- Create documentation, sample apps, and integration guides for SDK adoption.
